There's something about a hand-poured candle or a piece of ceramic that someone actually shaped with their hands — it carries weight. You can feel the intention behind it.
A few things I've learned running a small craft operation:
Imperfection is the point. Slight variations in glaze, texture, and shape are what make handmade pieces feel alive. That's not a flaw, it's a signature.
People don't just buy products, they buy stories. When someone knows the maker, sees the process, and understands the care — the piece means more.
Small batches > mass production. Limited drops create real demand and keep every piece special.
