Most Halloween yard props fail for the same three reasons. None of them are "buy a bigger printer."

1. You printed the whole thing in one piece.

A tombstone that tall wants to be split at the seams that hide in the grass. Print the base and the slab separate. Glue after. Your bed stays in the sweet spot, and a warp on the last 40mm does not trash 14 hours.

2. You used indoor PLA outside.

Overnight dew plus a sunny porch the next day is enough to sag a cheap PLA grave. PETG or a PLA+ with a clear outdoor sealer lasts the season. If it has to sit in a yard through October, treat it like outdoor decor, not a desk figurine.

3. You skipped a brim because it looked ugly.

Yard props have huge footprints and tiny first-layer contact. A 10-15mm brim is cheaper than reprinting at midnight. Sand it off. Nobody sees the bottom in the mulch.

If a print already failed, stop and check bed temp, first-layer squish, and whether the piece should have been two parts. Reprinting the same file at the same settings just burns filament.
