Here’s how we run money at MNS Picks so one bad night doesn’t wipe the week.

1. Set a working bankroll

Pick an amount you can actually play with, not your whole account. That’s your bankroll. We size every pick off this number, not off last night’s win or loss.

2. Define one unit

One unit is 1% of that bankroll. $500 bankroll = $5 a unit. $2,000 bankroll = $20 a unit. Write it down. Don’t change it mid-day.

3. Follow the card’s unit tags

When we post a play, we tag it in units (0.5u, 1u, 2u). Multiply that by your unit size. A 1u play on a $10 unit is $10. A 2u play is $20. Skip anything you don’t understand. Never “make it a 5u because you like the team.”

4. Cap the day

We treat 3–5 units total exposure as a full card. If you’ve already put 4u out, you’re done. Chasing after a loss is how bankrolls die.

5. Recalc weekly, not after every game

Once a week, update your unit off the current bankroll. If you grew, units go up. If you dipped, units go down. That’s the whole system.
