5 Daily Habits That Changed My Relationship with Allah
Most of us know we should be more disciplined with our deen. But knowing and doing are two different things.
Here are 5 small habits that completely transformed my daily connection with Allah:
1. Morning Adhkar before your phone — The first thing your mind absorbs sets the tone. Before you scroll, recite your morning supplications. Even 3 minutes changes everything.
2. One page of Quran after Fajr — Not a whole surah. Just one page. Consistency beats intensity every time. After a month, you won't recognize yourself.
3. Dhikr during "dead time" — Commuting, waiting in line, walking. Instead of zoning out, say SubhanAllah, Alhamdulillah, Allahu Akbar. Turn wasted moments into worship.
4. A 2-minute dua before sleep — Talk to Allah like He's listening — because He is. Ask for guidance. Thank Him. Be real.
5. One act of generosity daily — A kind word, holding a door, sending someone a reminder. The Prophet ﷺ said even a smile is charity.
None of these take more than 10 minutes. All of them compound over time.
