How to size press-ons so they actually stay on

Most press-ons fail because the size is wrong, not because the glue is cheap.

Do this before you order

  1. Trace each nail on paper, or use a sizing kit if you have one.

  2. Measure the widest point of the nail bed — not the tip.

  3. Write sizes in this order: thumb, index, middle, ring, pinky. Both hands. They are rarely the same.

  4. If you are between sizes, go smaller. A slightly snug nail lasts. An oversized nail lifts.

Shape and length

Pick one shape and one length for the whole set. Mixing coffin and almond on the same hand is why sets look off.

After they arrive

Push back cuticles, dehydrate the nail, glue from the cuticle down, and hold 20 seconds. No water for an hour.

If you are ordering a custom set from me, put those sizes in checkout. I make the set after you pay.
