The #1 mistake Fortnite beginners make (and how to fix it)
Most new players think winning in Fortnite is about aim. It's not.
It's about positioning.
I've seen players with cracked aim lose every fight because they take engagements from low ground, push without mats, or rotate late into zone.
Here's a simple framework that changed everything for me:
The 3-Second Rule: Before every fight, ask yourself 3 things:
Do I have high ground?
Do I have enough mats to box up if this goes wrong?
Is the zone in my favor?
If the answer to 2 out of 3 is no — don't take the fight. Reposition first.
This alone will get you into more top 10s than any aim trainer ever will.
I break down stuff like this daily inside Fort Academy. If you're a beginner trying to get that first VR, come through.
