How I went from cutting friends' hair to running a booked-out chair
Started Nate_fades because I got tired of clients texting me at random hours trying to find a time that worked. Built a simple flow instead: browse my recent cuts, drop into the booking chat, pick a slot, show up, pay in person — no apps, no deposits, no back-and-forth.
If you're a barber building your own client base: the biggest unlock isn't more Instagram posts, it's making it stupid easy for someone to go from 'I like this cut' to 'I have a time booked.' Every extra step between those two loses you clients.
First cuts are up in my portfolio now. Booking's open.
