Why 90% of new network marketers quit in month one (and how to not be one of them)

Most new reps fail for one reason: they start pitching before they have a system.

Here's what actually works in the first 90 days:

Days 1-14: Build your list, not your pitch. Write down 50 names. Don't message anyone yet. Categorize by relationship warmth (hot/warm/cold). Most people skip this and burn their best contacts with a bad first message.

Days 15-45: The 3-touch rule. Never pitch on the first message. Touch 1 = reconnect (no business talk). Touch 2 = share a story/result. Touch 3 = ask if they're open to hearing more. Conversion rates roughly double when you don't lead with the offer.

Days 46-90: Systemize your follow-up. Most sales happen on touch 5-8, not touch 1. If you don't have a simple tracker (spreadsheet is fine) for who you've talked to and when, you're leaking sales you already earned.

The reps who make it aren't the most talented — they're the ones who had a system before they needed willpower. Built a full course around this exact framework if anyone wants the scripts and templates: Network Mastery.
