After years of brokering deals across cars, real estate, and company acquisitions, I've watched the same mistakes kill deals over and over.
1. Chasing the deal instead of the relationship.
The best brokers don't chase β they build a network of people who bring deals TO them. Every introduction you make, even one that doesn't pay today, is an asset. The worst thing you can do is go silent between closings.
2. Not qualifying the buyer fast enough.
Half the "buyers" you talk to are window shoppers. Before you invest hours on a deal, ask three questions: What's your budget? What's your timeline? Have you done this before? If the answers are vague, move on.
3. Working alone.
The lone wolf broker hits a ceiling. Fast. The brokers who scale are the ones who partner β they split fees, share leads, and cover more ground. A 50% split on a deal you wouldn't have found alone is infinitely better than 100% of nothing.
I built Nexvia because I was tired of watching good brokers struggle in isolation. This is a network built specifically for deal-makers who want to connect, share opportunities, and close faster.
