The 3 things I wish someone told me before learning to code

I've taught hundreds of beginners. The ones who actually land jobs all figured out the same three things early:

You don't need to be good at math. Seriously. Most web development is logic and problem-solving, not calculus. If you can follow a recipe, you can write code.

Tutorials are a trap. Watching someone build an app feels productive. It's not. The gap between watching and doing is massive. You need to struggle with a blank editor, hit errors, and Google your way through them. That's the actual skill.

Pick one stack and go deep. HTML → CSS → JavaScript → React. That's it. Don't bounce between Python, Rust, Go, and Swift because some YouTuber said so. Depth beats breadth every time when you're starting out.

The biggest myth in tech is that you need a CS degree or some natural talent. You don't. You need 2-3 months of focused, daily practice and a community that won't let you quit.

That's exactly what we built Nizari Cod for.
