Everyone talks about 1:3 risk-reward. But here's what they don't tell you:


A 1:3 R:R with a 20% win rate loses money.

A 1:1 R:R with a 60% win rate prints.


The number that matters is expectancy: (Win% × Avg Win) - (Loss% × Avg Loss)


If you don't know your expectancy, you don't know if your strategy actually works.


This is Week 1 of Market Mastery.

Every trade I take, I log:


  • Pair, timeframe, direction

  • Entry reason (which setup from my playbook)

  • Risk amount and R:R

  • Screenshot before and after

  • What I felt during the trade


That last one is the game changer. After 30 entries you'll see your patterns, and they'll shock you.

Funded traders don't rush.


Their first hour:

  1. Review overnight price action

  2. Check economic calendar

  3. Mark key levels from higher timeframes

  4. Wait for the setup to come to THEM


No chasing. No impulse trades. No 'I'll figure out my stop later.'
