The real reason busy professionals can't stick to healthy eating (and what actually works)
After working with hundreds of professionals, I've noticed the same pattern over and over.
They don't fail because of willpower. They fail because their nutrition strategy was built for someone with 3 hours of free time a day.
Here's what actually works for people with packed schedules:
1. Default meals, not meal plans
Stop trying to plan every meal for the week. Instead, build 3-4 "default" meals you can make in under 15 minutes without thinking. Decision fatigue is your worst enemy.
2. Protein at breakfast is non-negotiable
Getting 30g+ of protein before 10am dramatically reduces afternoon cravings. A couple of eggs + Greek yogurt. Done. No elaborate smoothies required.
3. Strategic convenience food
Pre-washed salad bags, rotisserie chicken, microwaveable rice packets. These aren't "cheating" — they're how you stay on track when you're slammed.
4. One anchor habit
Pick ONE eating behavior to lock in this month. Just one. Sustainability beats intensity every time.
Most nutrition programs are designed to impress you, not fit into your actual life. That's the gap I'm focused on closing.
