Been building NovaCart — a small automated store around viral tech gadgets — and figured I'd share what "automated" really means in practice, since it gets thrown around a lot:

• Curation, not guessing: I don't pick products off a vibe. I watch what's actually spiking on TikTok/IG before listing anything, so inventory decisions are demand-led, not hope-led.

• AI handles the repetitive support load: order status, sizing/spec questions, "where's my package" — all first-response automated, so the humans only step in for the 5% that's actually complicated.

• Fulfillment speed is the real differentiator: in a market this fast-moving, a gadget can stop being "viral" in 3-4 weeks. If your ops can't move at that pace, you're selling yesterday's trend at full markup.

The unlock for me wasn's fancier ads — it was cutting the time between "this is trending" and "this is live and shippable" down to days, not weeks. Happy to swap notes with anyone else running lean e-commerce.
