Every prospect now gets an overall 0–100 score plus Budget, Need, and Fit ratings, an estimated budget band ($0–100 → $2000+), and the positive/negative signals behind the number. You never get a score without a why. Money potential is weighted above popularity.

Orty moves from a Windows installer to a full web app — getorty.vercel.app. No more downloads, no more SmartScreen warnings, no more "which .exe version am I on."

What's new:

Hey everyone! Orty v1.20.1 is now available — this release locks down the app for real: a new privacy-first license system, server-side security fixes across every Pro endpoint, and a version-numbering cleanup.

🔑 License System (NEW)

Real Pro verification: Pro features — Batch rating, Long-Form/video audits, in-app email sending, AI profile generation, and multiple portfolios — now require an activated license key (Settings → Orty Pro). Verification runs through Orty's Supabase verify-license Edge Function — the app never touches the database directly.

Privacy-first by design: activation sends only your license key and an anonymous SHA-256 device hash. No username, email, machine serials, or user content ever leaves your machine.

One license = one device, with a 7-day offline grace period. If the grace period expires without a successful re-check, Pro features fail closed while Free features keep working exactly as before.

Usage quotas lift automatically once Pro verifies — the 5/day rating cap and Co-Pilot cap no longer apply for verified Pro users.

🛡️ Security Fixes

• Server-side feature gates added to /api/batch, /api/video/analyze (+ /api/longform), /api/email/send, /api/profile/generate, and portfolio creation (Free tier capped at 1 portfolio) — these were previously enforced only in the UI, not the backend.

• Localhost request token: every launch generates a random token now required on all POST/PUT/DELETE requests, blocking drive-by requests from malicious webpages against 127.0.0.1:5000 (e.g. forced reset or shutdown).

• Workspace export sanitization: Resend API keys, SMTP passwords, and inline AI chat keys are now stripped from exported backup .zip files.

• Frontend fail-closed: if tier status can't be read, the UI now assumes Free instead of Pro.

Unified to 1.20.1 across the app, installer, executable metadata, docs, and buyer assets. Fixed a version-compare bug that could silently disable the update badge.
