First real sale is in — here's what I'm doing next

Small milestone but a real one: PackPulls just got its first paid sale from someone who found it on the marketplace, not through anything I pushed directly. That's the signal I was waiting for — the listing, odds transparency, and instant-reveal setup are actually converting cold traffic.

What's next on my end: doubling down on what's working instead of adding more features. If you've been on the fence about ripping a pack — odds are published, every pull reveals the second you buy, and you can ship, vault, or sell back what you get. Code FIRSTPULL still gets new buyers 20% off.

PackPulls flash sale — 30% off for the next hour

Just got PackPulls live on the marketplace, so we're kicking things off with a 1-hour flash sale.

Code HOURONLY — 30% off any pack tier (Bronze $5 → Diamond $50) or mystery box (Standard $25 / Jackpot $75). Expires in 60 minutes, one use per person.

How it works: pick a tier, we open it live, you keep the pull. Don't want what you got? Sell it right back to us for instant store credit — no shipping, no waiting.

The math nobody tells you before you buy a pack breaks spot

Been building PackPulls for a bit now and wanted to share how I actually think about pricing tiers, because most break sellers get this wrong in one of two directions.

If every tier feels "about the same odds," people only ever buy the cheapest one — there's no reason to spend more. If the top tier is wildly better, the cheap tiers feel like a trap. The fix is to price each tier so the expected pull value scales roughly with cost, but the variance scales faster — meaning the expensive packs aren't just "better," they're swingier. That's what makes someone want to go from a $5 Bronze pack to a $50 Diamond pack: not a guaranteed better card, but a real shot at something big.

The other piece people skip: a buyback option. If a customer pulls a card they don't want, giving them a way to sell it back (for less than retail, obviously — that's how the spread works) does two things. It lowers the psychological risk of trying a higher tier, and it keeps money circulating in your ecosystem instead of walking out the door to eBay. We just built this into PackPulls — pick a tier, open it live, and if you don't want what you pulled, sell it right back to us on the spot.

If you're running any kind of break/mystery box business, model your tiers like a payout table, not a menu. Happy to talk through pricing math with anyone building something similar.
