The one AI job-search rule that keeps you hireable

Most people use AI to write a resume that sounds impressive. Recruiters can smell it in about 20 seconds.

The better use is narrower: take one real job description, map it to evidence you actually have, and rewrite only the bullets you can prove.

A simple loop:

  1. Pick one target role and one market. Stop spraying applications.

  2. Paste the exact job description. Extract required vs preferred, tools, and ATS keywords.

  3. Put your real resume next to it. Keep matches. Flag gaps. Do not invent employers, dates, metrics, or work rights.

  4. Tailor the resume and a 250–350 word letter from verified facts only. Mark anything unsure as [VERIFY].

  5. Track every application. If you get silence, the problem is targeting or evidence — not more buzzwords.

If AI suggests a certificate, metric, or authorization you cannot prove, delete it. That one rule protects you in every market — US, UK, AU, CA, NZ, IE, EU, India.

I built the rest of this into a 9-module prompt system (JD analyzer, market-aware CV, application pack, ATS review, LinkedIn, interview coach, 30-day sprint). Same truth rule all the way through.
