The SaaS landing page formula that actually converts (not just looks pretty)

Most SaaS landing pages fail for the same 3 reasons. I've written hundreds of them, and the pattern is obvious once you see it.

Mistake #1: Leading with features instead of outcomes.

Nobody cares that you have "AI-powered analytics." They care that they can "find their best customers in 30 seconds."

Mistake #2: Too many CTAs.

Your landing page has one job — get the signup. Every button, link, and nav item that isn't "Start Free Trial" is working against you.

Mistake #3: No specificity.

"Save time and money" means nothing. "Cut your reporting time from 4 hours to 12 minutes" means everything.

The formula I use for every page:

→ Headline: outcome + timeframe + specificity

→ Subhead: who it's for + the pain it eliminates

→ Social proof: one number or one name, above the fold

→ CTA: action verb + what they get

Example: "Get 3x more demo bookings this quarter" hits harder than "The best sales enablement platform."

I write landing pages and blog content for SaaS startups on retainer. If your copy isn't converting, that's a problem I fix.
