Your empty courts aren't a marketing problem
Most pickleball facilities don't have a demand problem. They have an inventory problem.
Open play fills by WhatsApp. Reservations live on a clipboard. A no-show at 6pm is a dead hour you never get back. The people who would have paid for that slot never knew it existed.
The operators I talk to aren't lazy. They're running the front desk, restringing paddles, and answering "is court 3 free?" 40 times a night. The system is their head.
Three things change utilization without adding courts:
Named inventory. Every court, every hour, visible. If it isn't on a calendar, it isn't sellable.
Open play as a product. Skill level, cap, waitlist. Not "show up and hope."
A no-show rule people can see. Reminders beat rage. A waitlist beats an empty court.
That's the whole job. Fill the hours you already paid to keep the lights on.
If you still run courts on paper, that's the bottleneck — not ads.
