Why most clippers quit in week one (and how to not be one of them)
Ran the math on our clipper program's first cohort and the pattern is obvious: the ones who quit did it because they treated clip #1 like it had to be perfect. The ones who stuck around just posted daily and let volume do the work.
A few things that actually move the needle if you're clipping for views:
Post time matters more than edit quality. A decent clip posted when your platform's algorithm is warm beats a perfect clip posted at 3am.
Captions are doing 80% of the retention work in the first 2 seconds. If the hook text doesn't stop the scroll, the edit underneath doesn't matter.
One account, one platform, one niche โ for the first 2 weeks. Spreading across YouTube, TikTok, and IG on day one just splits your attention and none of them get the consistency the algorithm rewards.
Views compound. Money doesn't show up on clip #1. It shows up on clip #15-20 once the account has a posting history.
If you've got a phone and are willing to post daily, that's the entire bar to entry โ you don't need followers, you don't need to be on camera, you don't need to know how to edit. We hand you the finished clips; the only variable left is whether you actually post consistently.
