The biggest mistake beginners make (and what to do instead)

I've been a PE teacher for years, and I see the same pattern over and over with adults who want to start working out:

They go too hard on day one.

Monday they do an hour of cardio, 200 sit-ups, and a full weight circuit. Tuesday they can't walk. Wednesday the gym membership is collecting dust.

Here's what actually works for beginners:

Start with 15 minutes. That's it. A 5-minute walk to warm up, 5 minutes of bodyweight movements (squats, push-ups against a wall, marching in place), and 5 minutes of stretching.

Do that 3 days a week for 2 weeks. Then bump it to 20 minutes. Then 25.

The people who are still training a year from now aren't the ones who started with the hardest workout — they're the ones who started with the easiest one and never stopped.

That's exactly how I built Powerful Fitness. Real routines for real beginners. No equipment, no experience, no excuses.
