Meet the Founder

I'm Dr. Jametrice Johnson, a certified educator, educational researcher, and Praxis Coordinator in higher education with over six years of experience in education.

I hold a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership, a Master of Arts in Teaching with a focus on Elementary Education, and a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Elementary Education and a minor in History.

I'm a Louisiana Level 1 Certified Elementary Educator (Grades 1–5, All Subjects) with additional certifications in Middle School Science and Special Education (Mild/Moderate). My instructional expertise includes early literacy development, behavior restoration, classroom management, differentiated instruction, and evidence-based teaching practices.

Beyond classroom instruction, my professional background includes educational assessment, standardized test scoring, and data-driven instructional improvement. As a certified assessor, I have experience evaluating student performance, applying standardized scoring rubrics, assessing instructional effectiveness, and providing evidence-based feedback. I've also worked extensively with statewide and national educational assessments, including constructed-response scoring, scoring calibration, and quality assurance.

As a Praxis Coordinator, I specialize in analyzing assessment data, identifying learning gaps, developing targeted preparation strategies, and supporting teacher candidates as they work toward certification.

Why I Created Praxis Playbook

Throughout my career, I've worked with aspiring educators who have the passion and potential to become outstanding teachers but struggle to pass their Praxis exams.

I've seen firsthand how frustrating repeated testing attempts can be, especially when candidates don't know what to study or how to improve.

I created Praxis Playbook because I believe future educators deserve more than practice questions. They deserve instruction that makes difficult concepts easier to understand and preparation that meets their individual needs.

My goal is to help educators build the knowledge, confidence, and strategies needed to move closer to certification.

Virtual Group Sessions: Interactive, 90-minute Praxis reviews limited to 15 participants.
Individual Tutoring: Personalized support focused on your learning needs.
Study Resources: Practice questions, instructional videos, and content reviews.
Community Discussions: Connect, collaborate, and learn alongside other educators.
Workshops & Partnerships: Virtual and in-person preparation opportunities for school districts and educator preparation programs beginning January 2027.

Community membership is FREE! Tutoring sessions, workshops, and select resources will be offered separately.
