5 things I changed that took my testosterone from 18.7 to 30.5 nmol/L

I got my blood work back 12 weeks ago. 18.7 nmol/L. For a guy in his prime, that's not where you want to be.

Low energy. Brain fog at 2pm every day. Libido was inconsistent. Recovery from the gym was slow. I just felt… off.

So I treated it like a project. Researched everything, built a protocol, and executed for 12 weeks straight. No TRT. No drugs. Just strategic changes.

Result: 30.5 nmol/L. 63% increase. Men's Health wrote about it.

Here are the 5 biggest needle-movers:

1. I cut seed oils completely. Canola, sunflower, soybean — gone. Replaced with butter, tallow, and olive oil. Most guys don't realise how much these inflammatory oils are suppressing their hormonal environment.

2. I ate like a predator, not a rabbit. Red meat, eggs, organ meats, raw dairy. The animal-based approach gave my body the building blocks it actually needs for hormone production. Your body can't make testosterone from kale.

3. I fixed my sleep architecture. Not just "8 hours" — actual quality sleep. Cold room, no screens after 9pm, magnesium before bed. Sleep is when your body produces the majority of its testosterone. Most men are sabotaging this without knowing.

4. I got strategic with supplements. Not random pills from Amazon. A targeted stack based on what my blood work was actually deficient in. Zinc, boron, vitamin D3+K2, and a few others that most guys overlook.

5. I stopped chronic cardio. Replaced long runs with heavy compound lifts and sprints. Endurance training can actually suppress T. Heavy squats and deadlifts spike it.

The full protocol with every detail — nutrition plans, supplement dosages, training programming, blood work education — is in The Primal T Protocol.

If you're a man between 25-40 and you feel like your energy, drive, and performance aren't where they should be, your testosterone is probably the bottleneck.

Get tested. Get optimised. Stop accepting the decline.
