3 things I look for before entering any trade
Most traders lose money because they chase. Here's the framework I use to filter noise from signal:
1. Volume confirmation — Price moves without volume are fake moves. I need to see above-average volume on the breakout candle, period. If it's not there, I wait.
2. Multi-timeframe alignment — If the daily trend is bearish but you're buying a 5-minute breakout, you're fighting the current. I only take setups where the 1H, 4H, and daily all agree on direction.
3. Clear invalidation level — Every trade needs a line in the sand. If I can't define exactly where I'm wrong, I don't take the trade. This is how you keep losses small and let winners run.
The edge isn't in finding more trades. It's in taking fewer, better ones.
