Why we built Qahwa instead of just using QuickBooks + a POS + an HR spreadsheet
Most café owners in Saudi run their back office as five disconnected tools: a POS terminal, a WhatsApp group for staff schedules, an Excel sheet for inventory, an accountant they pay monthly just to stay ZATCA-compliant, and a notebook for loyalty stamps.
Every one of those seams is where money leaks. A barista undercounts stock because nobody updated the sheet. An invoice goes out non-compliant because the accountant hasn't touched the books this week. A regular customer never comes back a third time because there's no loyalty system to remind them.
We built Qahwa around one belief: a solo café owner in Riyadh or Jeddah shouldn't need to hire an accountant, an HR officer, or an IT team just to run a shop that sells coffee.
So Qahwa is one login that covers:
Brew — POS that takes cards, Apple Pay, mada, and cash
Pantry — inventory that updates itself off every sale
Ledger — ZATCA Phase 2 e-invoicing and books, done automatically
Crew — staff schedules and payroll
Pulse / Roast AI — plain-language answers about your margins, in Arabic or English
Blend — an AI marketing studio for your next promo
The bet isn't "more features." It's that every module talks to the same data, so nothing needs manual reconciliation. If you're running a café solo and duct-taping five apps together right now, that's exactly the problem we started Qahwa to kill.
