📸 The Screenshot Is Not the Week

Saturday feeds are full of green closes and one perfect gold trade. Nobody posts the three scratches, the moved stop, or the day they should have been done after the first loss.

If you judge yourself against other people's highlights, you'll size up and chase. That's how accounts die.

Quexed EA is measured on the full record, not one clip. Your week should be too. Pull the whole statement, not the one photo that looks good.

This weekend: are you reviewing the full week, or just the trade you'd screenshot? 👇

📦 Don't Hold Gold Into the Weekend Unless the Plan Says So

Sunday gaps don't care that Friday looked "almost there." Spreads, news, and a thin book can reopen XAUUSD far from where you left it.

If the trade wasn't good enough to close at your rules today, hoping the weekend will finish it for you is not a strategy.

Quexed EA doesn't gamble on the gap. Positions follow the plan, not the calendar. If you're still in a trade only because you don't want to book the result, that's ego, not edge.

Going into this weekend: are you flat, or are you holding and hoping? 👇

🥇 Gold Is Slow, So You Open Five Other Charts

XAUUSD chops for two hours and suddenly EURUSD, GBPJPY, and US30 are all "also a setup." That's not diversification. That's boredom.

Every extra pair is extra risk you didn't plan for, extra news you didn't mark, and extra ways to hit the daily loss limit.

Quexed EA stays on its market and its rules. If gold isn't offering a trade, the answer is wait, not wander.

Master one instrument. Prop firms fail a lot of people who were "just checking another pair."

Are you gold-only this week, or are extra charts open right now? 👇

⚖️ A Small Account Cannot Trade Like a Big One

Gold moves fast. A lot that feels "normal" on a $100k screenshot is reckless on a $5k or $10k prop.

Overleverage doesn't look like overleverage until one candle. Then the daily loss limit is gone and the challenge is over.

Quexed EA sizes from risk, not from how confident the last setup felt. If the lot size only works when the trade is perfect, the lot size is wrong.

Quick check: if XAUUSD runs 100 points against you, does the account survive, or does the day end?

What lot size are you actually running on gold, and on what account size? 👇

📉 Drawdown Is a Test of the Plan, Not a Signal to Abandon It

Every real system spends time underwater. That's not failure. That's variance.

The failure is what traders do next: size up to "catch up," switch strategy mid-week, or turn the EA off right before it recovers.

Quexed EA is built to keep the same risk through green weeks and red weeks. If you only follow the plan when it's winning, you don't have a plan. You have a mood.

A 3-5% drawdown that you sit through is often cheaper than the damage from trying to skip it.

How do you usually react to a drawdown: sit, size down, or start changing rules? 👇

📉 Adding to a Loser Is Not "Giving It Room"

Gold pulls back, the trade goes red, and it feels smart to add. Lower average. It has to come back.

That's how a 1R loss becomes a 3R hole, and on a prop account it becomes a failed challenge.

Quexed EA does not average down. One setup, one risk, one stop. If the trade is wrong, it's wrong. Adding size does not make the original idea more correct.

If you need to add to feel comfortable, the first entry was already too big or too early.

Have you averaged down on gold this month? Did it save the trade or make it worse? 👇

📝 Write Next Week's Rules Before the Market Opens

Sunday is the last quiet hour you get. Once gold reopens, decisions get faster and worse.

Don't spend it hunting the first candle. Spend it writing three non-negotiables for the week. Examples:

  • Max risk per trade

  • Daily loss stop

  • No trade during red-folder news

Quexed EA already has those rules baked in. Manual traders need them on paper, not in their head. If it isn't written, you'll negotiate it on Tuesday.

Drop one non-negotiable you're taking into this week 👇

⚙️ Don't Rebuild Your System Every Saturday

A red week makes people change indicators, lot size, and EA settings. A green week makes people add more risk. Either way, you never give one plan enough time to prove itself.

Quexed EA works because the rules stay still. Weekend review is for checking whether you followed the plan, not for inventing a new one.

If you change settings every Saturday, you're not trading a strategy. You're trading last week's mood.

One rule for this weekend: pick one thing to keep, not five things to tweak.

What's the one setting or rule you refuse to touch next week? 👇

📉 Friday Gold Gets Thin. That's Not an Opportunity.

Late Friday, XAUUSD often looks "about to break." Spreads widen, liquidity drops, and one wick can take a stop that would have been fine on Wednesday.

That's not a setup. That's a thinner book.

Quexed EA doesn't treat a quiet Friday as a chance to force the week's last trade. If conditions aren't there, it sits. Manual traders should do the same, especially into the close.

If you already have a week, protect it. If you don't, Monday still exists.

Are you still hunting a Friday entry, or are you flat into the weekend? 👇

🆕 October 1 Is Not a New Personality

New month. Fresh dashboard. A lot of traders treat that like permission to size up, add pairs, or "be more aggressive this month."

That's how October starts with a hole. The calendar changed. Your risk math did not.

Quexed EA doesn't get a new settings file because it's the 1st. Same filters. Same lot logic. Same patience.

If last month taught you something, keep the rule. Don't use a new month as a reset button for discipline.

Are you running the same risk today as you did in September, or did the 1st talk you into more size? 👇
