📊 Review the Process This Weekend, Not Just the P&L

A green week can hide bad habits. A red week can hide a good process. If you only look at the dollar number on Saturday, you'll keep the wrong lessons.

Check this instead:

  • Did I take only A-setups, or did I fill the week with extras?

  • Did my risk stay the same after wins and after losses?

  • Did I follow the plan, even on the trades that lost?

Quexed EA is judged on rules first. Results follow. That's the same standard worth using on a manual account.

Was this week a process win, a process fail, or a mix? 👇

🔁 Revenge Trading Doesn't Get the Money Back

A red trade feels unfinished. So you double the size, skip the setup, and try to "make it back before the close."

That's not recovery. That's how a small loss becomes a blown day, and on Friday it becomes a blown week.

Quexed EA never sizes up to chase a loss. Same lot logic after a winner and after a loser. The next trade has to earn its place, not pay for the last one.

If you're in a hole today, the highest-EV move is often no trade at all.

Have you ever sized up specifically to recover a loss? What happened? 👇

📉 More Trades Is Not More Edge

A slow day feels like you're missing something. So you lower your standards, take a weaker setup, and call it "staying active."

That's overtrading. Activity is not a strategy.

Quexed EA is built to wait. If XAUUSD doesn't print a valid setup, it does nothing. Sitting in cash is a position.

Count your trades this week. If the number is high and the results are messy, the problem usually isn't the market. It's how many times you asked it for a win.

✂️ Cutting Winners Short Is Still a Risk Problem

A lot of traders protect losers and panic-close winners. The stop stays where it is. The take-profit gets dragged in the moment the trade goes green.

That kills the math. You need winners that actually pay for the losses. If you keep banking +0.3R and letting losers run to -1R, no strategy saves you.

Quexed EA exits on its rules, not on how the last five minutes felt. Same target. Same stop. No "I don't want to give it back."

Be honest: do you move your TP in closer once a trade is in profit? 👇

🔴 Hit Your Daily Loss Limit? Stop. Don't Negotiate.

Prop firms don't fail most traders on strategy. They fail them on the second, third, and fourth trade after the first loss.

The daily loss limit exists to save the account. Once you hit it, the edge is gone and emotion is running the session. Quexed EA stops when its risk cap is reached. No "one more trade to get it back."

If you don't have a hard daily stop written down, you don't have a risk plan. You have hope.

What's your daily loss cap, and have you ever broken it? 👇

📅 Don't Try to Win the Week on Monday

Monday pressure is real. After a weekend of thinking about P&L, a lot of traders size up, take extra setups, and try to "get ahead early."

That usually creates the drawdown they're trying to avoid.

Quexed EA treats Monday like any other session. Same risk. Same rules. No catch-up mode.

One good Monday does not make the week. One forced Monday can ruin it.

How do you size on Mondays compared to the rest of the week? Same, smaller, or more aggressive? 👇

🌙 Sunday Open Is Not a Setup

Gold reopens tonight and a lot of traders treat the first candle like a signal. Spreads are wide, liquidity is thin, and that first spike often reverses once London actually shows up.

Quexed EA waits for its conditions. It does not chase the reopen just because the chart started moving.

If you trade XAUUSD, give the market time to settle. The week is long. The first hour of Sunday night is usually noise, not edge.

Do you sit out the reopen, or do you take the first move? 👇

📋 Weekend Review: The Trade You Don't Take Still Matters

Saturdays are for looking at the week without a live chart in your face. Not to hunt a new setup. To ask three questions:

  1. Did I follow my risk rules, or did I override them?

  2. Which trades were in the plan, and which ones were emotion?

  3. What will I refuse to do next week?

Quexed EA doesn't need a weekend debrief because it never breaks its own rules. Manual traders do. The edge is often in the trades you skip, not the ones you take.

What's one rule you're tightening for next week? Drop it below 👇

🛑 Friday Rule: Protect the Week You Already Earned

Fridays are where a lot of traders give back a good week. Spreads widen, gold gets choppy into the close, and FOMO kicks in because "one more trade" feels like it will finish the week strong.

It usually does the opposite.

Quexed EA doesn't force extra trades just because it's Friday. If the setup isn't there, it sits out and keeps the week's work intact.

Quick check for the community: do you trade into the Friday close, or do you lock it in and walk away? 👇

🚫 FOMO Is the Fastest Way to Blow a Prop Firm Challenge

You see a candle spike. You jump in late. The market reverses. Daily loss limit hit. Challenge failed.

That's not a strategy problem — that's FOMO. The setup you missed is not a loss. The trade you forced after missing it usually is.

Quexed EA only takes trades that match its rules. No chasing, no "I'll just catch this one." If the setup isn't there, it sits out.

Be honest: what's the last trade you took purely because you were afraid of missing it? 👇
