Why Chinese Yoga Changed Everything for Me
Most people think yoga is just stretching. And most yoga is taught the same way — hold a pose, breathe, repeat.
Chinese yoga is different. It's rooted in 3,000+ years of Qi Gong, Tai Chi, and Daoist movement philosophy. Instead of forcing your body into shapes, you learn to move energy through your body. The flexibility comes naturally — it's a side effect, not the goal.
Here's what shifted for me:
Breathing became medicine. Chinese yoga teaches you breathing patterns that directly calm your nervous system. Not "take a deep breath" — actual techniques that work in 30 seconds.
Flexibility without pain. Western yoga often pushes past resistance. Chinese yoga works WITH your body's natural movement patterns. I gained more flexibility in 3 months than 2 years of regular yoga.
Mental clarity on demand. The meditation component isn't separate from the movement — it's built into every flow. You don't need 20 minutes of sitting still to feel centered.
If you've ever felt like traditional yoga wasn't clicking, this might be why. The Chinese approach works differently because it starts from a completely different understanding of the body.
I'm teaching everything I've learned inside Qi Flow Yoga. Three tiers depending on how deep you want to go.
