The real reason booking travel abroad is broken (and what I'm doing about it)
Spent the last few years bouncing between cities as a digital nomad, and the same problem kept showing up everywhere: every part of a trip lives on a different app.
Hotel on one site. Apartment/Airbnb on another. A local driver you have to find through a sketchy WhatsApp group. And if you're actually trying to buy or lease property somewhere, or hire a car for a few weeks — good luck finding anyone who isn't a stranger with no accountability.
None of these apps talk to each other, none of them build trust over time, and you're re-doing the vetting process from zero in every new city.
So I built QuirkiConnect Hub — one members community where you can:
Request hotel/apartment/Airbnb stays and get matched with hosts
Get paired with vetted local drivers for rides (no more random WhatsApp links)
Browse property sales/leasing if you're looking to put down roots somewhere
Hire a car for longer stays
The idea isn't another listings site — it's a standing community of travelers, drivers, and hosts who build a track record with each other over time, the same way you'd trust a friend's recommendation over a cold booking.
Still early — we're seeding the driver/host supply side right now. If you travel or move between cities often (or you're a driver/host who wants early access to demand), I'd genuinely love your take on what's missing before we scale this up.
