Why 75% of resumes get rejected before a human sees them

Most job seekers don't realize this: your resume isn't being read by a person first. It's being scanned by software called an ATS (Applicant Tracking System).

If your formatting is off — columns, tables, fancy graphics, headers in the wrong place — the ATS can't parse it. Your resume gets auto-rejected. Doesn't matter how qualified you are.

Here's what actually works:

→ Use single-column layouts. Two columns confuse most ATS parsers.

→ Standard section headers. "Work Experience" not "My Journey." "Education" not "Learning Adventures." Keep it boring on purpose.

→ No text boxes or graphics. ATS can't read them. That beautiful Canva resume? It's getting trashed.

→ Mirror the job posting. If the posting says "project management," your resume should say "project management" — not "oversaw initiatives." ATS matches keywords literally.

→ Save as PDF. Unless the application specifically asks for .docx.

I built the ATS CV Bundle to solve this. Every template is tested against major ATS systems — clean formatting, proper headers, keyword-ready sections. Works in Google Docs, Word, and Pages.

Stop getting filtered out before you even get a chance.
