I tested 15 massage chairs so you don't have to — here's what I learned

Most people buying a massage chair are flying blind. You're about to spend €1,500-€5,000 on something you tried for 3 minutes in a showroom. That's insane.

After testing 15+ chairs from OSIM, Synca, Luraco, and others, here's what actually matters:

Track design > brand name. The OSIM uDeluxe Max has a solid dual-track system, but some chairs at half the price match it. Most people overpay for the brand.

Don't trust showroom demos. 5 minutes in a store tells you nothing. The real test is week 2 — when the novelty wears off and you find out if the heat therapy actually reaches your lower back or just warms the surface.

Warranty is everything. A chair with a 5-year parts warranty will outlast a "premium" chair with 1 year. This is a mechanical device — things break.

Size matters more than features. A chair with 47 programs is useless if it doesn't fit your body. Height, weight, shoulder width — measure first.

I built RelaxIQ to be the place where people get honest, tested advice before making this decision. No affiliate links clouding judgment. Just data, testing, and a community of people who take recovery seriously.

If you're in the market, stop guessing.
