Been sourcing and flipping vintage/deadstock pairs for a while now, and the same 3 mistakes keep eating people's margins:

1. Buying on "trust" instead of paper trail. OG boxes, receipts, and authentication docs aren't optional — they're the difference between a $400 flip and a $0 refund when a buyer disputes it.

2. Ignoring regional demand pockets. A pair that sits for 3 months in one market moves in 48 hours in another. Cross-post, don't camp on one platform.

3. Underpricing "story" pairs. Sneakers with real provenance (game-worn, sample, limited regional release) are worth more than the size-chart says. Most sellers price off StockX comps and leave money on the table.

Building out a space (Relic Kicks) specifically for resellers who take sourcing seriously — verified pairs, real buyers, no lowball tire-kickers. If you're in the deadstock/OG game, worth a look.
