The 3-post rule that gets real estate agents more DMs (not just likes)
Most agents post a listing photo, a "just sold" graphic, and a quote about hustle — then wonder why nobody messages them.
After running social for real estate clients, here's the pattern that actually converts views into leads:
The Local Authority Post — Answer one hyper-specific question your market asks (e.g. "Is it still a seller's market in [city] this fall?"). Data + your take. This is what gets shared and builds trust before someone even talks to you.
The Behind-the-Scenes Post — Show the unglamorous part: negotiating a repair credit, prepping a listing at 6am, a client's reaction at closing. People buy from agents they feel they know, not agents who look perfect.
The Direct Offer Post — Once a week, just ask. "DM me if you're thinking about listing in the next 6 months." No fluff. Most agents are scared to do this and leave leads on the table.
The mistake we see constantly: agents post #2 nonstop (because it's easy) and skip #1 and #3 (because they take positioning and courage). Content without a CTA is just a diary.
If you're an agent, team, or brokerage and want this handled for you — done-for-you content, video editing, branding, and lead gen — that's literally what we built Remote Genz to do. Happy to share more in the comments if anyone wants specifics on what's working right now.
