2. Charging with random cables
Cheap cables fry charging ports over time. Stick to certified cables — MFi for iPhones, USB-IF for Android.
3. Water + rice = myth
If a phone gets wet, DO NOT put it in rice. Turn it off immediately and bring it to a repair shop.
4. Ignoring a cracked screen
A small crack becomes a spider web fast. Moisture and dust get in and damage the LCD. Fix it early, save money later.
5. No backups
