📢 New Content Coming: Advanced Sourcing Masterclass

You asked for it. It's coming.

We've been listening to your feedback, and the #1 request has been clear: teach us how to source at scale. So that's exactly what we're building.

---

🚀 What's Coming

The Advanced Sourcing Masterclass — a brand new module covering:

  • 🏪 Wholesale sourcing — How to buy clothing bundles at £1-2 per item and flip each piece for £8-15+. Supplier contacts, negotiation tactics, and quality control.

  • 💻 Online arbitrage — Finding underpriced items on eBay, Facebook Marketplace, and Depop, then reselling on Vinted at a markup. The digital sourcing method you can do from your couch.

  • 📦 Scaling beyond Vinted — How to expand to eBay, Depop, and even your own Whop-powered store for maximum reach and profit.

This isn't beginner content. This is for members who've completed the core course and are ready to level up from side income to serious money.

---

📅 Timeline

We're aiming to release the first chapter within the next few weeks. You'll get a notification the moment it drops.

In the meantime: focus on mastering the fundamentals. Complete the current course, hit your first £100 month, and you'll be perfectly positioned to take advantage of the advanced material.

💡 PRO TIP: Start building your sourcing network now. Follow local charity shops on social media, join car boot sale groups on Facebook, and save eBay searches with alerts. When the masterclass drops, you'll already have the infrastructure in place.

Big things are coming. Stay locked in. 🔥

📢 Community Challenge: First Sale in 7 Days

Challenge accepted? Let's get your first Vinted sale within 7 days of joining.

This isn't optional motivation. This is a structured challenge designed to get money in your pocket as fast as possible.

---

🏆 The Challenge

Goal: Make your first sale on Vinted within 7 days.

Rules:

  1. List at least 5 items within your first 48 hours

  2. Follow the pricing strategy from the course (use the Sold filter, price 10% below average)

  3. Take quality photos — natural light, clean background, 5 images per item minimum

  4. Post during peak hours — 7-9pm weekdays or 10am-2pm weekends

  5. When you make your first sale — post your proof screenshot in the chat! 🎉

---

💰 Why This Matters

Your first sale does something no amount of reading can do: it proves to your brain that this works. Once you see that notification — "Your item has been sold!" — everything changes. The system becomes real.

Most Academy members who complete this challenge go on to make 10+ sales in their first month. The ones who skip it? They're still "thinking about starting."

💡 PRO TIP: Don't overthink your first listings. Grab 5 items from your own wardrobe that you don't wear anymore, photograph them, list them at fair prices, and let the market work. Perfection comes later — action comes now.

Drop a 🔥 in the comments if you're taking the challenge. Let's see who hits it first!

🔥 Pro Tip #5: Seasonal Flipping Calendar — What to Buy When

The secret to maximum margins? Buy off-season, sell on-season.

When everyone is buying summer clothes, you should be sourcing winter coats at rock-bottom prices. When winter hits, you sell them at a premium. This is how professional resellers print money.

---

📅 The Seasonal Flipping Calendar

Source NOW (Cheap)

Sell LATER (Premium)

Best Margin Window

Winter coats — Buy in March/April

Sell October–December

🔥 3-5x markup

Summer dresses — Buy in September/October

Sell April–June

🔥 2-4x markup

Festival wear — Buy in October

Sell May–July

🔥 3-4x markup

Back-to-school — Buy in December

Sell August–September

🔥 2-3x markup

Christmas jumpers — Buy in January (clearance!)

Sell November–December

🔥 5-10x markup

The key insight: charity shops and car boot sales don't adjust prices seasonally. A winter coat costs £3 in March just like it costs £3 in October — but buyers will pay £15-25 for it when it's cold.

---

🎯 Quick Win

This weekend, go to your nearest charity shop or car boot sale and source 5 off-season items at the lowest prices you can find. Store them and list them when the season flips. You'll thank yourself in 6 months.

💡 PRO TIP: Dedicate one storage box to "off-season inventory." Label it with the month you plan to list. When that month arrives, you have ready-to-sell stock waiting with margins already locked in.

Buy when nobody wants it. Sell when everyone needs it. That's the reseller's edge.

🔥 Pro Tip #4: The Bundle Strategy That Doubles Your Average Order

One sale is good. Two items in one sale is a game-changer.

Bundles increase your average order value, reduce your per-item shipping cost, and make buyers feel like they're getting a deal. Triple win.

---

💰 How Bundle Discounts Work

Vinted allows buyers to add multiple items from your store into a bundle and purchase them together. When you offer a discount on bundles, it incentivises buyers to grab more.

The sweet spot: 10-15% off for 2+ items. Enough to feel like a deal, not enough to kill your margins.

---

🎯 Quick Win

Add this line to the bottom of every listing description starting today:

"👀 Check out my other items — bundle 2+ and save 10%! Fast shipping on all orders 📦"

This does two things:

  1. Drives traffic from one listing to your whole store

  2. Plants the seed that buying more = saving more

Then go to your Vinted settings and enable the bundle discount at 10%.

💡 PRO TIP: When a buyer favourites one of your items, send them a friendly message: "Hey! I noticed you liked the [item]. I've got similar pieces in my store — happy to do a bundle deal if you see anything else you like!" This converts browsers into multi-item buyers.

Bundles are free money hiding in plain sight. Activate this today.

🔥 Pro Tip #3: How to Get Vinted's Algorithm to Push Your Listings

The algorithm decides who sees your items. Here's how to make it work FOR you, not against you.

Vinted doesn't show every listing to every buyer. It ranks sellers based on signals. The better your signals, the more eyeballs you get — for free.

---

📊 The 3 Algorithm Signals That Matter

1. Freshness — New and recently relisted items get a temporary boost. Vinted wants fresh content in search results.

2. Profile completeness — Sellers with a profile photo, bio, verified email, and 5+ reviews rank higher than blank profiles. Vinted trusts complete profiles more.

3. Response time — Reply to buyer messages within 1-2 hours and your visibility score improves. Slow repliers get pushed down.

---

🎯 Quick Win

Do these 3 things today:

  1. Relist your 3 oldest unsold items — delete them, take fresh photos, and repost with an updated title and price. Instant freshness boost.

  2. Complete your profile — add a friendly photo, write a short bio ("Fast shipper 📦 | Quality vintage & streetwear"), verify your email.

  3. Turn on push notifications — reply to every message within 2 hours to signal responsiveness.

💡 PRO TIP: Set a recurring reminder every 2 weeks to relist your slowest-moving items. This single habit keeps your store constantly fresh in the algorithm's eyes.

Work WITH the algorithm, not against it. These 3 tweaks cost nothing but deliver more views on every listing.

🔥 Pro Tip #2: The Best Times to List on Vinted

Timing is everything. List at the wrong time and your item gets buried before anyone sees it.

Vinted's feed is chronological for new listings — fresh items appear at the top. If you list at 3am, your item is already on page 5 by the time buyers wake up.

---

⚡ Peak Traffic Hours

Based on real seller data, these are the highest-traffic windows on Vinted:

Day

Peak Window

Monday–Friday

🕖 7:00pm – 9:00pm (after work/school browsing)

Saturday–Sunday

🕙 10:00am – 2:00pm (weekend shopping mode)

Listings published during these windows get 3-5x more views in their first hour compared to off-peak times.

---

🎯 Quick Win

Schedule your next listing session for one of these windows:

  1. Prepare everything in advance — photos taken, descriptions written

  2. Hit publish during peak hours so your items land at the top of search results

  3. Bump your best items at the start of the window for maximum visibility

💡 PRO TIP: Sunday mornings (10am-12pm) are the single best time to list. People are relaxed, scrolling on the couch, and in a buying mood. Make Sunday your power-listing day.

Stop listing randomly. Be strategic and let the traffic come to you.

🔥 Pro Tip #1: The 'Sold Items' Hack Nobody Talks About

Stop guessing your prices. Let buyers tell you exactly what they'll pay.

Most sellers price items based on feelings. "I think this is worth £15." But thinking isn't knowing.

---

🎯 The Hack

Vinted has a "Sold" filter that most people completely ignore. Here's how to use it:

  1. Search for the exact item you want to list (e.g. "Nike Tech Fleece Joggers")

  2. Tap Filters → scroll to Status → select "Sold"

  3. Browse the results — you'll see exactly what buyers actually paid for that item

This gives you the real market price, not what other sellers are hoping to get.

---

🎯 Quick Win

Do this right now:

  1. Pick an item you currently have listed

  2. Search it on Vinted with the Sold filter

  3. Note the average sold price across 5-10 results

  4. Reprice your item 10% below that average — this makes you the best deal on the page and triggers faster sales

💡 PRO TIP: Check sold prices BEFORE you source. If an item sells for £8 on average and you'd pay £5 at the charity shop — that's only £3 profit. Skip it and find something with better margins.

This one habit will eliminate dead stock and speed up every sale you make.

5 Items You Should Never Buy to Resell on Vinted (Beginner Mistakes)

If you're getting into Vinted reselling, knowing what NOT to buy is just as important as knowing what to buy. Here are 5 items that burn beginners every single time:

1. Fast Fashion Basics (Primark, Shein, Boohoo)

Nobody is paying resale for a £3 Primark t-shirt. These brands have zero resale value because everyone knows they're cheap. You'll spend more time listing than you'll ever make back.

Instead: Look for mid-tier high street brands like Zara, H&M (premium lines), or COS — they have some resale demand.

2. Damaged Items You "Plan to Fix"

That jacket with a broken zip? The trainers with a scuffed sole? You tell yourself you'll fix them, but you won't. And even if you do, buyers will still lowball you because of the flaw.

Instead: Only buy items in good or excellent condition. The extra £2-3 you spend on clean stock pays for itself in faster sales and better reviews.

3. Out-of-Season Clothing

Buying winter coats in January to resell seems smart — but you'll be sitting on them for 8 months. That's 8 months of dead money that could've been flipped 3-4 times.

Instead: Buy what's in demand RIGHT NOW. Summer coming? Shorts, sunglasses, linen shirts. Back to school? Jackets, hoodies, bags.

4. Fake Designer Items

This should be obvious but it needs saying. Selling counterfeit items on Vinted will get your account permanently banned. Not suspended — banned. And you could face legal trouble too.

Instead: Stick to authentic brands you can verify. If a deal looks too good to be true, it probably is.

5. Random Junk in Bulk

Those "mystery boxes" or "50 items for £20" bundles from car boot sales? 90% of it will be unsellable. You end up with a pile of clothes nobody wants and £20 less in your pocket.

Instead: Be selective. Buy individual items you've researched. One £5 item that sells for £20 beats fifty items that sell for nothing.
