The thing nobody tells you about 'having it all'

We were sold a story.

Work hard, build a career, be a good partner, raise good kids, stay fit, keep the house clean, support your friends β€” and if you're tired, that's just the cost of ambition.

That story is a trap.

I've spent years studying feminism, motherhood, and relationship dynamics β€” and the pattern I see over and over: women are brilliant at giving, and terrible at receiving. Not because we're weak. Because we were taught that our value lives in what we give to others.

Here's what I know to be true:

  1. You cannot pour from an empty cup. Not a clichΓ© β€” a biological fact.

  2. Wanting things for yourself isn't selfish. It's survival.

  3. The relationships that last are the ones where both people are whole, not halved.

Empowerment isn't a self-help word. It's a daily practice β€” the decision to stop shrinking and start taking up space.

What's one thing you stopped doing for yourself that you want back?

Welcome to Rise & Rooted 🌿

Hey, welcome. I'm so glad you're here.

This space was built for women who are done pretending β€” done shrinking, done performing, done waiting for permission to take up space.

Here's what you can expect inside:

  • Community Chat β€” real conversations with members. Introduce yourself, ask questions, share wins and hard days.

  • Topics we go deep on: feminism in everyday life, navigating relationships on your own terms, the identity shifts that come with motherhood, and what it actually means to put yourself first without guilt.

My only ask: show up as yourself. No performance. No curated version. Just you.

Drop a comment below β€” what brought you here?
