I'm the only Christian in my family. Everyone else is Hindu.

I found God in my senior year of high school, 2021-2022. Nobody in my family saw it coming — because they're all Hindu. I'm the only one.

That alone changed everything. Not just spiritually, but in how people looked at me. I became the outcast in my own home.

Since then my faith has been tested in ways I'm still not ready to talk about. Battles I've fought alone, in silence, because who do you even tell? The people around you don't get it. Your family thinks you've lost your mind. And the church people? Sometimes they make it worse with the toxic positivity.

Here's what I've realized though — even as a Christian, even walking with God, I still feel alone sometimes. Isolation is necessary for growth. I believe that. But when you're isolated and your heart feels numb and empty... that's a different kind of pain.

I know I'm not the only one feeling this.

So I built Salt & Light Collective. A community for young adults who are walking through real stuff — doubt, loneliness, family tension, spiritual warfare — and need a place where they can be honest about it.

No fake smiles. No "just pray about it" responses. Real people helping each other mentally, physically, and spiritually.

If any of that hits home — come through. Let's talk about the stuff nobody else wants to talk about.

"You are the salt of the earth... You are the light of the world." — Matthew 5:13-14
