Why most mobile detailers waste money on Meta ads (and how to fix it)
Ran ads for a handful of mobile detailing businesses this year and noticed the same 3 mistakes over and over:
1. Generic before/after photos as the only creative. They work for the first 2 weeks, then fatigue kills your CTR. You need a rotating library of creatives — different angles, different hooks (price, speed, convenience, guarantee).
2. Targeting the whole city. A mobile detailer with a 15-mile service radius doesn't need to advertise to an entire metro. Radius targeting around your actual service area cuts wasted spend immediately.
3. No retargeting. Most people who click your ad don't book same-day. A simple retargeting campaign to people who viewed but didn't convert (with a "limited slots this week" angle) recovers a huge chunk of "lost" leads for almost no extra spend.
If you're running your own Meta ads for a mobile detailing or local service business and it feels like you're throwing money at a wall — happy to look at what you've got. Built a system that generates fresh ad creatives on a rotation and handles the campaign management end to end.
