A launch week is a scheduled distraction with a countdown clock.
If you ship digital products and also care about orbit, the failure mode is the same every time: the scrub, the hold, the “T-0 in forty minutes” ping eats the block you reserved for shipping. Care less is not the fix. Treat the window like weather — watched on purpose, bounded on purpose.
What to watch

Deploys: push / admin / SSH without the session dying?
Uploads: a typical asset finishes in a window you’ll wait?
What to watch: name primary vs backup in one sentence. Write a failover line: If X fails, I will Y within Z minutes, and I will not W until primary is back. Power the dish and the router. Run a 10-minute monthly drill before the real outage.
Ignore: obstruction theater after the three tests pass, week-one dual-WAN science projects, using backup data for bulk downloads, brand loyalty vs your trees and rain.
Compounding decision: define usable for calls / deploys / uploads before you rearrange the roof.
