How I Filter Noise and Find Clean Setups Every Morning
Every morning, thousands of stocks are moving. The key isn't finding stocks that move — it's finding ones that move PREDICTABLY.
My morning filter process:
Step 1: Start with the macro
What's SPY/QQQ doing? Trending or chopping? This decides if I'm aggressive or conservative.
Step 2: Check the gap list
Stocks gapping 3%+ on volume. These have the most momentum potential.
Step 3: Find the level
Every trade needs a clean level — support, resistance, VWAP, a moving average. No clear level? I skip it.
Step 4: Wait for confirmation
I don't buy the gap. I wait for price to pull back to my level and show me it's holding. Patience separates profitable traders from gamblers.
Step 5: Execute with a plan
Entry, stop, target — all defined before I click buy. If it doesn't meet my risk/reward minimum (1.5:1), I pass.
This is the exact process behind every signal I post. Nothing fancy. No secret indicators. Just structure, patience, and discipline.
