Most house and techno producers do not have a talent problem. They have a finishing problem.
You know the loop. A bassline you like. A drum pattern that almost works. Then you open a new project instead of closing this one.
That is not a DAW issue. It is a decision issue.
Three things I see constantly from producers 25+ who should already have a catalogue:
Arrangement never gets a deadline. If the track has no date it is meant to be done, it stays a sketch.
Feedback comes too late — or from people who do not make this music. You need ears that hear house and techno, not “maybe add a riser.”
“Almost done” is treated as progress. It is not. A bounce you would put your name on is progress.
If you have more unfinished projects than finished ones, pick the strongest idea in the folder and do not start another until that one is out.
That is the whole game.
