Tall Halloween props fail at the brim, not the model

Every October I watch people reprint the same 400 mm haunted house because layer 1 didn't stick.

Three things that actually matter on hobby FDM:

  1. Wash the bed with dish soap, not IPA, before PLA.

  2. First layer 0.28 mm, 20 mm/s, 60°C bed.

  3. 8 mm brim on anything over 200 mm tall.

I started selling print-ready STLs because I got tired of "haunted house" files that need four hours of repair in the slicer. If you just needed the first-layer notes, take them. If you want the pack, it's on SliceLab.
