Most neck pain is a pillow-height problem
If you wake up with a stiff neck, it is usually not "bad sleep." It is your head sitting too high or too low for 7 hours.
A simple check:
Side sleeper — your pillow should fill the gap from mattress to ear. Too flat and your neck folds down. Too tall and it cranks up.
Back sleeper — you want a thinner pillow so your chin does not jut forward.
Stomach sleeper — go as thin and soft as you can stand. Height is the enemy.
That is why Softylife Small is extra soft (low, plush), and Medium/Large share the same supportive fill — you are choosing height, not a different "quality tier."
If your neck still hurts after a week, the size is wrong, not you.
