5 soups you can make faster than ordering takeout

Most people think making soup from scratch takes hours. It doesn't.

Here are 5 that take less time than waiting for your Uber Eats driver:

1. 15-Minute Tomato Bisque

Canned San Marzano tomatoes, a splash of cream, garlic, basil. Blitz it. Done. Tastes like you spent 3 hours on it.

2. 10-Minute Miso Ramen Bowl

Instant dashi stock, white miso paste, soft-boiled egg, whatever greens you have. Restaurant-quality in your kitchen.

3. 20-Minute Butternut Squash Soup

Pre-cubed butternut (every grocery store sells it), onion, stock, nutmeg. Immersion blender is your best friend.

4. 12-Minute Thai Coconut Curry Soup

Coconut milk, curry paste, chicken or tofu, lime. One pot. No skill required.

5. 18-Minute Italian Wedding Soup

Store-bought mini meatballs, chicken broth, spinach, tiny pasta. Your grandmother would approve.

The secret to all of these? Stop overcomplicating it. Good ingredients + heat + 20 minutes = soul food.

I built Soul Bowl because I was tired of choosing between eating well and having a life. Every recipe here is designed for people who are too busy to cook but too smart to keep eating garbage.

New recipes every week. All under 30 minutes. All actually good.
