Why I put chips in a bottle instead of a bag
Every gamer knows the problem: you're mid-clutch, hand covered in chip grease, and now your controller sticks for the rest of the session. Bags of chips were designed for a coffee table, not a keyboard or a joystick.
So I started SpaceChips. Same crushed potato chips you already love, packed into a sealed aluminum bottle instead of a bag. Pop the cap, tip it back, pour straight into your mouth. Zero hand contact. Zero grease on your gear. Zero crumbs in your keyboard.
A few things I learned building this:
Format matters more than flavor for snack innovation. People don't need a new taste, they need a new way to eat what they already like.
'Mess-free' is an underrated selling point. Gamers, drivers, and desk workers all have the same problem โ sticky hands near expensive gear โ and almost nobody is solving for it.
A bottle also just holds up better than a bag. No air, no crushing in a backpack, no stale chips by day 3.
We're launching with a 3-bottle flavor pack, and every purchase puts a few dollars toward funding a real rocket project we're building toward the Moon. Snacking with a mission attached, not just a flavor.
If you've ever ragequit because your hand slipped off a greasy controller, this one's for you.
