Why most sprint coaches are flying blind on athlete workload

Most high school and club sprint programs still track everything on paper or a shared spreadsheet: hand times, RPE scrawled in a notebook, training plans that live in someone's head.

The problem isn't effort — it's that spreadsheets don't scale past about 10 athletes before something falls through the cracks. You miss the athlete who's been quietly overreaching for three weeks. You forget which group hit their taper. You can't quickly answer "who's trending faster this season vs last."

We built SprintOS because sprint training is uniquely data-heavy compared to most sports — splits, block times, weekly volume, meet results — but none of the general fitness apps are built for how sprint coaches actually plan (periodized blocks, event-group splits, taper windows).

If you're coaching 15-40 sprinters and still living in a spreadsheet, it's worth 10 minutes to see what a purpose-built system looks like. Happy to answer questions from any coaches here.
