The $10K MRR CRM trap almost every SaaS founder falls into

If you're a solo SaaS founder doing $5K-$50K MRR, here's a pattern I see constantly:

You start with nothing. Then a lead comes in and you handle it manually — no big deal. Then five come in from five different places (website form, a LinkedIn DM, a referral, a cold email reply, an old lead who finally responded) and suddenly you're tracking deals across your inbox, a spreadsheet, and your memory.

So you sign up for HubSpot. You set up a pipeline. You use it for two weeks. Then it goes stale, because nobody has time to manually log every touchpoint while also building product.

The actual fix isn't "use a CRM." It's "make the CRM update itself." That means:

  • Every lead source (form, LinkedIn, email, referral) routes into ONE pipeline automatically — you shouldn't be copy-pasting anything

  • Follow-up sequences fire without you remembering to send them

  • You can see, at a glance, how many deals are open and which ones are stuck — without opening five tabs

Most founders don't need a fancier CRM. They need someone to actually wire the one they have into their workflow so it runs without them. That's the entire gap between "we have HubSpot" and "we have a functioning sales process."

If that's you right now — happy to talk through what's actually broken in your setup.
