Most “print-ready” STLs still fail on a hobby printer
A file can look clean in the slicer and still waste a roll of filament.
The usual reasons:
Walls under 1.2 mm that a 0.4 mm nozzle can't hold
Overhangs past 50° with no supported orientation
Tiny contact patches that warp off the bed at 60°
“Scale to 200%” notes buried in a zip instead of a real print profile
I design for the machines people actually own — Ender-class, Bambu A1/P1, and similar. If a part needs supports, the notes say so. If it doesn't print, that's on me.
STL Bench sells the files as a one-time pack. If the machine itself is the problem, that's a separate 1-hour live session — not bundled, not lifetime.
