The content strategy mistake that's quietly killing your growth
Most creators think their content problem is a volume problem. Post more, post daily, post everywhere.
It's not. It's a strategy problem.
Here's the pattern I see over and over: someone posts 20 pieces of content a week, gets inconsistent results, and concludes they need to post even more. So they burn out chasing volume instead of asking the actual question — does every piece of content have a job?
Every piece of content should be doing one of three things:
Attracting — reaching people who've never heard of you (top-of-funnel, discovery-driven, built for reach)
Nurturing — deepening trust with people who already know you (behind-the-scenes, POV, proof)
Converting — giving a reason to buy right now (offers, case studies, direct CTAs)
Most accounts are 90% attracting content and 10% (or 0%) converting content. That's why the following grows but revenue doesn't move. You're all top-of-funnel, no bottom.
The fix isn't posting less or more — it's auditing your last 20 posts and tagging each one with its job. If you don't have at least 3-4 converting pieces in there, that's your leak.
We go deep on frameworks like this every week inside Content Strategy — if you want the full system, it's linked on this page.
