I've shipped 100+ brand systems. Here's the one thing that separates the ones that actually convert.
Most founders hire a designer to make things look good. That's the wrong brief.
After 7 years doing brand + web for gaming DAOs, energy startups, and fintech, the pattern is always the same: the landing pages that convert aren't the prettiest ones — they're the ones where the first screen answers three questions in under 5 seconds:
What is this?
Who is it for?
Why should I care right now?
Miss any of the three and it doesn't matter how good the typography is. I've rebuilt pages that were visually stunning and converting at under 1% — the fix was never a redesign, it was rewriting the hero.
If you're a Whop creator sitting on a page that isn't converting, run it through those three questions before you touch the design. Nine times out of ten, that's the leak.
Happy to score anyone's homepage for free if you want a second pair of eyes.
