The 3 study habits that actually move the GPA needle

Most study advice is generic fluff. Here's what actually works based on cognitive science:

1. Spaced repetition > marathon cramming

Your brain consolidates memory during sleep. Reviewing material across 3 shorter sessions over a week beats one 6-hour cram session every time. Not even close.

2. Active recall beats re-reading

Close the textbook. Write down everything you remember. The struggle IS the learning. Re-reading feels productive but it's mostly an illusion of competence.

3. Track your inputs, not just outcomes

Most students only look at grades. But grades are lagging indicators. Track study hours per subject, consistency streaks, and which techniques you used. When you see the data, you make better decisions.

This is exactly why we built StudyPulse — a dead simple way to track your study sessions, build streaks, and figure out what's actually working for your GPA.

If you're a college student who's tired of winging it, come check it out.
